We generally will send your package either the same or the next business day. Exceptions sometimes happen if we're mixing up a fresh batch or waiting for some fresh ingredient to get to us. If this occurs, we will let you know.
Currently, we have FREE standard shipping in the US for orders over $150 with no code required. Otherwise, we try to keep it pretty affordable.
Our standard shipping rules are that packages sent to US addresses that are under 1 lb ship via USPS First Class with Delivery Confirmation, and packages 1 lb or heavier ship via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. E-mail us if you need a different shipping option that is not offered at the checkout. Also e-mail us if you need faster shipping and we will process a price adjustment for a shipping upgrade.
We reserve the right to refuse fulfilling an order for any reason we might deem necessary. We will promptly issue a full refund on an order we are unable to fill and offer an explanatory note.
Please contact us if you need your item shipped to you in a special way or if you need it faster. We're generally pretty accommodating.
Our international packages ship via USPS First Class International (with a customs number). E-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you require USPS Priority, UPS International, or Registered Mail shipping and we will get back to you with the price quotation for this shipping upgrade.
If an international package appears to be lost, claims may be filed 45 days after the date of shipment. Please contact us if you do not receive your order within 45 days from the day of shipping.
Customs fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Items returned for non-payment of customs fees or for any other reason by customs of the destination country will not be refunded.
Note that we are required to include an invoice with each international purchase and also need to declare the authentic cost of each purchased item on the customs form.
Re-Routing Packages and Return to Sender Policies
USPS does not offer a package rerouting service at this time for 1st Class Mail. If you entered an incorrect address or for any other reason your package has been returned to sender (us), we will charge a 20% restocking fee (25% for international orders) plus the original shipping cost and then will post a refund for you for the remaining amount. If you would like the package resent to the same or a different address, we will send you a PayPal invoice for the second shipping cost and then ship the package once it is back with us and this payment is received. We count on your understanding that shipping is expensive and we are not able to shoulder extra shipping expenses per order.
As of August 2016, USPS announced that they would start charging for merchandise shipments returned to sender as undeliverable from addresses abroad. Please understand that if we are charged for any returned packages and there was no fault in our order processing, we will have to deduct this fee in addition to the restocking fee before posting a refund.
Packages Delayed in Transit
We work with USPS to ship most orders because they are reliable and affordable. However, we have found that here and there packages take inexplicably longer to arrive at their destinations, due most likely to a USPS routing mistake or weather conditions.
While your package is in the care of USPS, the most effective means to learning more about the status of your package is checking your tracking number on their website. USPS also offers an option for the recipient to submit a Missing Mail Search Request if the package has not arrived after 7 business days.
Please allow 2 weeks for a delivery of your package within the US--they really almost never get lost or stolen but will turn up at your door. If the package does appear to be lost after 2 weeks pass, contact us with your order number at email@example.com.
